Our manhole repairs treatment process
Step 1 Contact
Contact us with the location and symptoms, such as damaged brickwork, loose mortar, water ingress, a deteriorated cover seating, internal surface failure or an unsafe chamber. We gather enough information to prioritise the visit correctly and, where the issue is urgent, determine whether the area needs immediate controls before a full repair.
Step 2 Quote
We examine the accessible chamber components, including walls, joints, benching, channel, cover and frame interfaces. The inspection identifies local deterioration and any signs that a wider drainage defect may be contributing. We then provide a quotation based on the repair method, access requirements, materials and any associated cleaning or reinstatement.
Step 3 Works
Our team prepares the work area, removes unsound material and carries out the specified structural or surface repairs. Depending on the defect, this can include rebuilding local masonry, repointing, sealing penetrations, repairing internal finishes or addressing the cover and frame interface. The objective is a stable, serviceable chamber that can be safely accessed and maintained.
Step 4 After care
The repaired chamber is checked for workmanship, cleanliness, secure access and obvious leakage or flow issues before handover. We highlight any defects elsewhere in the system that were visible during the work and advise whether periodic chamber inspections, cleaning or CCTV surveys would help protect the repair and identify future deterioration early.
